Kinder-Basketball

Kinder basketball is well on its preperation in Blowing Rock. My experience with this program is that it is a popular event that happens within the town of Blowing Rock. Kinder-basketball had a total of 28 participants last spring and with three coaches plus a main programmer it was easy to manage all the children. With this years list already adding up, there are a few returning particpants which allows the coaches and programmers to ensure fun and more involved practices and scheduling will happen with the srping of 2016. The spring of 2015 consisted of dribbling, shooting, passing, scrimmages, games, competitions, and social networking for the children. As a coach I enjoyed getting to know each participant and learning thier skillsets and values to each practice which in turn made it easier to understand how to play each individual and place them into teams for scrimmages and competitions. Kinder-basketball is still looking for new particpants and hopefully i will have the opportunity to coach and train these players, it is such a thrill to see how much they improve in social skills, motor skills, and basketball knowledge by the end of each session.
